Unapologetically grindy and repetitive. The gameplay loop is fun for a while but the time you put in doesn't quite translate to creative strategies or card variety. Would have been nice if more cards came with glyph abilities that were appropriate for the Pokemon (like another reviewer mentioned-- Fork Attack for Doduo would make sense). Instead, too many of my cards felt the same. And I was left to slap a bunch of thematically meaningless abilities onto random Pokemon.
