dunno what the general critical consensus is on this game but I almost never hear it mentioned in the same conversation as alan wake and control (unless it’s a conversation about whether it counts) and that’s a dang shame! the tv show portion is a little silly and underbaked but that’s the remedy touch tm and i think it’s a neat little time travel story that is mechanically a clear evolutionary step between alan wake and control. didn’t like the push and pull of the combat as much as i did control’s but when it sang it sang bayyybe. lance reddick acted circles around every other cast member in the show.
