As you'd expect from a game that was only released in limited Eastern European countries, Chameleon is a bit rough around the edges, but this Splinter Cell meets Hitman hybrid is pretty enjoyable once you've got your head around what the stealth and combat will let you get away with and what will get you spotted and killed. The Mafia engine does a good job at creating atmospheric maps to sneak about and the actual locales and mission objectives are all fairly interesting, finding yourself wandering the back streets of Belfast, in a shootout on a moving train, sneaking into a Baltimore police station to steal records, infiltrating a maximum security prison in Columbia and end up in an Afghanistan warzone for the final act.

I have no idea what ties all these things together, the plot and dialogue are a bit of a mess but once you're in the thick of a mission, none of that matters. A surprisingly good and genuinely hidden gem.
