Only GoW game I played before this was GoW 3. I enjoyed that game. GoW 2018 definitely elevated the series for me. While there is no way this game hits as hard as it does without the aggressively brutal tone of the Greek trilogy, the Norse games are definitely my favorite in the series. Only negative may be one rushed plot point, but not nearly enough to detract from the overall product.
