"There's a lantern on top of the supplies. The warm light makes you feel relaxed..."

One of the best horror survival games ever. I can see why this game is so beloved and playing it made me realize that finally. The atmosphere is insane and especially with the mechanics of only saving a couple times and there being a limited amount of saves. You really feel like you have to survive because you can't use all your ammo, you have to make sure you have enough space in your inventory, you have to memorize the whole layout of the mansion and remember which zombies you killed and to burn them to make sure they don't turn into Crimson Heads. Everything is at peace when you finally enter a safe room and you're able to relax to the amazing music that plays during your time in there.

About the difficulty options, I believe in my opinion from top to bottom, the middle is most likely the best balance for difficulty especially it being for an older Resident Evil Game. The Middle option is the normal for this game and I would consider the top option a hard and the unlocked mode after completing the game, very hard.

I don't think I ever felt like there was an unfair moment in the game because the game tells me to be prepared at every moment's notice no matter what. The atmosphere is what this game does best and games today can barely replicate it and comparing this to dead space 1-2 which I love a lot is an amazing comparison because both have made me tense up and made it really unsettling. Having to ammo check every time after encountering or thinking on the fly on whether to get rid of these zombies or dodge around them knowing that you might return to that one room later or don't. I love the characters that really shaped and started up this amazing franchise as well, seeing Wesker, Chris Jill and a few others and all the interactions. I understand this game takes a bit to get used to but when you do feel that click happen, this game gets super fun and it's legit one of the best games ever.

I love Jill.
