if i remember correctly, i think i played during 1.6. that was when the game was getting optimization and gameplay updates--so that during gameplay it wouldn't be a bug filled mess. it still sort of is a bug filled mess, but not to the extreme that it used to be.

the game is an enjoyable experience from start to finish. nothing completely mind-blowing but still lots of fun. lots of different unique ways to build your character and gradually upgrade your cyberware into eventually becoming unkillable: which in a way, isn't really fun necessarily--but i heard that 2.0 changes a lot gameplay wise so i'll make updates accordingly if my opinion changes regarding it, probably in the phantom liberty review i'll make eventually.

V's relationship with Johnny is honestly really neat, too. from understandably hating each other to gradually outright understanding each other, seeing their interactions take place as V slowly loses their grip is satisfying and makes you feel a connection to the character, which is really neat.

overall it's a fun game. i like it a lot.
