I mentioned on my Pokemon Sun review that I wish, instead of this game existing (or LGPE), that we got an improved remaster on the Switch of SM in HD, containing all the extra content elements of USUM like the 8th trial, Rainbow Rocket, Mantine Surfing, Ultra Necrozma etc without compromising the amazing story in SM that was absolutely ruined here. Gameplay wise, this is better. One of the best regional dexes ever - a perfect game to nuzlocke. I hate that this had to exist in the state it's in. I adore Gen 7 and I think it would be the definitively best pokemon experience if they just managed to make a game with the good elements of both the base SM and its ultra iterations. Why did we even need a "retelling" in the first place?
