I'm probably one of a handful of D&D players that didn't think this was just the most horrible idea ever. The concept of having a fighting game with a campaign where you would get XP, magical items, etc. seemed pretty fresh to me. It's a shame really, because the execution is just so terrible that I can't recommend it to anyone unless you just want to actively play something that is garbage. If that's your thing then have at it.
