Bayonetta 1 is one of my all-time favorite games, and because of that, a sequel is almost guaranteed to fall below expectations. Bayo2 is not as highly regarded as 1 to me- but that's perfectly fine. However, there is no denying that 2 is of an absurdly high quality. Usually for reviews, I like to give thoughts on the aspects of the game and what they mean to me, but I will instead drop an anecdote of when I just recently replayed it after 4 years. I turned it on to take a break from college work to play one chapter. I played 6. I turned it on again the next day to do the same. I played to the end. It's just that fun. Great game. You owe it to yourselves to play these two games, and as Bayo3 draws near I hope I can say the same to it as well!
