A very fun arcade racing game, it was visually stunning in 2010 and it still is, the graphics are good but what really shines is how much emphasis there is in cars and their beauty, those supersport cars in police vinyls are something I enjoy just sitting and watching, really beautiful models and extremely solid camerawork and presentation on the few cutscenes there are.
It looked this good in 2010 however, the remastering work here is pretty eh of even downright bad considering the 8th gen versions and even the series S version are 30 fps. A vinyl creator was added and the SLR cars were removed.
Something I find pretty amusing is how defensive EA seems to be of this specific game. Is remember the Xbox 360 version being one of the few games to implement AP2.5 to lock out pirates with flashed drives (The others being asscreed brotherhood, driver san francisco and then cod black ops iirc). This version includes denuvo anti-tampering for a remaster of a 12 year old game with so few changes, one might as well just pirate the original.
