i did not expect to like this game so much but i really did. i love that u can solve crime while also beating the shit out of people. the questioning and court sections were really fun especially because it's relatively low stakes; the only thing i suffer is embarrassment if a character calls me out on being wrong.

i loved that the cases were all connected in some way, i fully expected the game to be a series of totally different cases. that being said, i am glad they went the route of "everything is connected" because it made the side cases a lot more enjoyable. im also a fan of how you had multiple sources of picking up cases, whether it was formally getting a job from someone or stumbling upon a person in need.

combat was really fun. even if its just 2, im glad they brought back the battle styles (since i had came from kiwami 2). wall jumping and leapfrogging were some of my favourite parts of fights. Every time i write these damn reviews i feel like i need to end it with a logical conclusion like its an essay . when these are literally only for me to word dump
