Reading some criticism of Amazing Mirror online, here’s what I consider to be helpful tips.

Left trigger returns the player to the central hub.
Right trigger can be used to call the other kirby/players over.
There is a map hidden in the start screen, you need to hit select to find it.

My experience with AM is playing it online with 3 other players, I’ve heard 4 players slows the game down and I can’t imagine a single player play through.

Amazing Mirror is like a Metroidvania, with friends you can easily cover ground, split your resources to finding alternate routes requiring specific powers (Fire for Breakable Blocks, Hammer, etc) and using the phone system to regroup with ease - however the phones do require power.

It’s an enjoyable game, somewhat shallow at times as you retrace ground for the nth time and memorable moments do occur but can’t be placed as specifically as “world 8, stage 3”. I’d almost like to see a remix that adjusts Amazing Mirror to a traditional Kirby side scroller.
