Was honestly worried as I approached the finale because I kept hearing how the ending sucked and how the story buckles under its own weight. Well, to some extent this is true (Ichiban's actual main story feels underbaked), but I think anyone who thinks the ending sucked is either a bitter dead-ender about Kiryu being back in the mix, or just doesn't have media literacy. The trajectory of the story has been clear for a while. You just didn't notice.
