Ok, so not a huge amount of people liked this game when it came out, and I totally understand why. Some cool mechanics go mostly unexplained unless necessary (I didn't even know you could make builds or give magic effects until my THIRD playthrough). Road trips can become boring once you've seen most of the map. Some very important characters have very little personality or development. I get it. But in my eyes everything else more than makes up for its shortcomings. It was the first game I had ever played to make me cry at the ending and I'll never forget the experiences I had with this game.
