This is a real cool homage to Resident Evil 1 done in first person with some other shoutouts thrown-in (that make sense with the story wrapper and aren't just pure gimmicks). Even the goofy puzzles are nailing the vibe of their inspiration completely. However, the combat and movement feels super clunky and not fun considering there's an unlockable horde mode thing and that it tracks if you're playing knife-only/melee-only which doesn't feel viable at all given how restricted and sluggish your movement is if you're not sprinting forwards in a straight line).
