How is this game? I was only interested in it because of you guys recommendations, but I've only heard bad things about it

I'm not very far into it and I have to play more. It's a perfectly competent game but it's basically just that. I wanted something really weird again but this isn't it, which is a shame because every other thing yuri shibamura has made including gunparade march is crazy.
From what I played it's decent, I'd definitely recommend it if you want to try it out and I think it is supposed to be fairly short (30~ hours)
