Garden Simulator is an interesting idea, following trends of a lot of smaller indie developers making these ‘simulator’ type games, only this one giving you a small plot of garden (which can eventually be expanded) and asking you to maintain it and profit off of maintaining and harvesting plants.

Whilst there is a decent variety of plants, currently the game offers very little past around maybe 5-10 hour mark to keep playing.

Sure, it makes it interesting by having some plants and garden decor only unlocked when certain conditions are met - but the total space when everything is unlocked is still very limited.

The grid-based placement system also is kinda off so nothing ever truly aligns - especially fences. There’s also a few ‘tasks’ that are not exactly written the best, leading to occasional confusion as to what is expected.

Hopefully as it ages the developers add more because even in its current state its a promising, relaxing title.
