Elden Ring is an excellent game, I've played a decent amount of Fromsoftware titles but never to this extent. So what are the strengths: the music, the weapon variety, the art direction, lore and engaging bosses. The open world was just fantastic to explore, there's always something you can randomly stumble upon which rewards the players who paid attention. This game is not flawless by any means, the reuse of dungeons may be too excessive, but because of its sheer scale, I probably won't replay it. The final boss was quite anticlimactic. There are some tropes in all recent Fromsoftware titles I wish weren't there. As you know every main boss will 2 transformations and a certain design philosophy is implemented in every enemy. I might expand my thoughts later but overall it's well worth the purchase. Though concerning performance there are some odd stutters throughout which is weird. It's mostly a consistent 60fps but you get a random drop out of nowhere. In conclusion, I would recommend playing Elden Ring it definitely deserves Game of the Year.
