This was a decent game, but something was missing, and I'm not quite sure what. I liked the first Rage well enough, but I never quite connected with this one. I only discovered 3 guns total, and I spent the entire game in the Phoenix. I think a lot of the tech tree remains unexplored too. I think both because the menu interface is terrible, and I just had a really hard time caring about upgrades. They just didn't feel necessary, just like the weak plot and the characters that I didn't care about. The hot pink aesthetic was annoying as well. It was still a pretty decent shooter / driver, but in the end nothing special and a game you can safely ignore.
