checked it out for the first time in many years, and no matter how many features are grafted onto it, the core is still disappointing. create-a-sim and build/buy mode are the most intuitive in the series and genuine delights to use, but the life sim gameplay is fundamentally flawed in a way that bores me deeply. i've played every mainline sims game, and i think ts4 is my least favorite unfortunately.
