felt like Infinity Ward was primarily focused on building a narrative around these insane setpieces rather than writing the latter within the framework of the former and y'know what? it totally works. i'm not a big FPS guy at all but this is great. ultimately has less gameplay variety than its predecessor but makes up for it with the grand, almost operatic scope of the action. goes crazy fucking hard.
