The first time I've finished the game since back when it first came out. An unusual revisit because the whole goal was for me and my friend to go through the entire thing in a single setting.

The dialogue is significantly worse than I remember it being and considering I was never fond of it in the first place, was quite a shock. Every single time anyone opened their mouth it felt like waddling through a dredge.

But an interesting side effect of ignoring the most of the side-quests and running through the game was that we were severely underleveled at any point in the game. Which made a lot of the gunfights a lot more active, difficult and much more engaging than the usual gameplay loop of destroying everything you see in a blink of an eye.

That alone made it a ton of fun.
