A really short game (less than one hour long for both endings) that does a decent job of building atmosphere, but due to its brevity, it doesn't feel like it was fully capitalized upon. Besides the atmosphere, there's a total of 5 scares; two of them were pretty decent; they added to the mystery and the tension quite well. Meanwhile, the other three were loud jump-scares. The jump-scare you get during one of the endings is extra obnoxious due to just how loud it is. You don't need an obnoxiously loud noise to make something scary, if anything, those kinds of jump-scares just ruin the suspense. You can still have good jumpscares without making the player's ears bleed. Another thing that feels like a misstep is how rushed the story is. You're collecting journal pages and they go from normal journal entries to one slightly unsettling one to full-horror. Again, this is a brevity issue.

Overall this game just leaves me feeling more frustrated than anything. This game could've been so much more with just an extra 15-20 minutes of playtime for a run.

I get the impression that this developer could make something really rock-solid if they focused more on building atmosphere in a longer game with more subtle visual or quiet scares and then maybe a pay-off in the form of one good jumpscare that's not obnoxiously loud.
