it amazes me what small teams can release sometimes

Signalis brims with atmosphere a lot of the time that makes me think "I like this". Signalis makes me use my resident evil brain. Signalis is gay. Signalis manages to make "it was a dream the whole time" feel mostly earned. Like, I'm not even that bothered by it. Viewing everything through the lens that is eventually given to you makes even the "this item intentionally left blank" parts seem less pretentious at least a bit. The sci fi world building at large is pretty fun, maybe I'll even like it more if I watch a video about everything I missed.

Taking further inspiration from RE and requiring a resource to save may have been good. A lot of the times I couldn't select certain things like door or items easily. That was frustrating, and while the narrative does a lot that I like, which I mentioned above, I don't think it always sticks the landing with me.

Cool game though woo hoo.
