More complex, with a limited map size. Adds in "card decks" and combos where buildings placed in specific orders will morph into new buildings as well as synergies where different tiles give different amounts of points depending on their type. However it all stays perfectly legible and the puzzle mode is a great way to sharpen your understanding of the rules. A great expansion of the idea.

Much more focused on randomness and getting a good draw of buildings. Relies a lot on you understanding what possible buildings exist so you can shape it ahead of time. Not very understandable as to score or what elements exist on the map already

Ultimately, remembering what building activates which and trying to nudge each building to get the perfect amount of space (because it's not hex-based, it's fully 3D), was not really my jam.
