I spent one summer as a student living in a dorm that for some reason had this in the basement. Me and my friends spent a disproportionate amount of time playing this and it wasn't bad at all! As a light-gun game with very little in the way of mechanics besides 'shoot stuff', a lot of its appeal came down to its atmosphere, which was equal parts intensely violent and entertainingly schlocky.
