Another year another annual play through of the Halo series, Halo 2 was my introduction to the series as a child and I have immense nostalgia for it. Gun play is refined, levels are more linear and the story is very in depth this time. Halo 2 also has my favorite soundtrack in the series, so many good tracks here, both the original and remaster are ear porn. Halo 2 has it's fair share of jank which I actually like about it, lots of easy ways to get oob, button combos and certain quirks unique to this game make it a lot of fun to speedrun. This game took what the first game did and refined it, it is THE Xbox Live game and 20 years later it still holds up wonderfully.
