somehow i spent much of my life with some half life i had not yet touched! i always figured that i had played opposing force due to my obsession with hl1 and 2, but steam playtime and my surprise at this said differently. this game gave me more half life and i was happy to have it. the new alien guns are fun, level design is tight (though i do not like the black ops mfers) and in general, i had a good time. i turned on some music and felt very at ease. strange that something this grotesque can be nostalgic.
