Not as good as DD1. I’m not sure what it is… but it doesn’t feel Darkest Dungeon enough. I feel like something’s missing. For a roguelike, it’s just not really... it’s not really progressive enough or has that randomness content like others do. It’s like it’s trying to be a roguelike but doesn’t really know how to be one. At first I was a bit optimistic about them trying a new formula considering I like the genre but it’s not really done right to me.

The story is really interesting, especially with the combat sequences they just did a great job there. I think that was super creative and different to what I’ve normally seen.

Still will put a lot of my hours into this game regardless.
