What a disappointing experience. The goodwill fostered by the decent shooting mechanics and solid squad AI is ruined by some of the most repetitive mission design I’ve ever seen in an FPS. Doesn’t help that the story does little to establish what’s at stake, meaning that the objectives are all arbitrary and don’t add to a sense that you’re working towards a defined goal. Lots of moments of annoying, artificial spikes in difficulty as well.
