the good:
• the mc's design
• the blood sword
• deaths that are supposed to be taken seriously but came off as fucking hilarious
the bad (basically everything else):
• boring plot
• forgettable characters
• ANNOYINGLY high encounter rate
• utterly garbage level up system
• rotating 4th party member that is almost always garbage
• airship being unavailable until before the last 2 dungeons
• aoe magic is garbage
• AGGRAVATING AMOUNT OF EMPTY ROOMS IN DUNGEONS THAT YOU CANNOT GET A GLIMPSE INSIDE OF UNLIKE THE FIRST FINAL FANTASY BECAUSE THEY CHANGED IT SO THAT EVERY ROOM HAS IT'S OWN LOADING SCREEN AND SMALL MAP
• forgettablely reused music
• enemies that could borderline one shot half of my party and drain
• paralysis STILL being uncurable
• confusion being nigh uncurable unless you have level 5 of the specific cure spell????
• far too many spells that were utter dogshit/pointless (esuna having 2 variants for some reason????)
• nerfed haste
