Folklore is an interesting game from the start. From it's setting in England, to the focus on fairies, and the combat system it uses, Folklore is a unique experience, and one that I think most people aren't aware of. It's not so much that this game doesn't have flaws or it plays well, but rather the world building and set up of the world and mystery make it worth the trip. The heavy use of the six axis controls can be very annoying when capturing spirits and a lot of the promise the game has in the beginning falls short mid way through, but it's still none the less charming.
It's a little sad to play this game now as you can tell the game was very ambitious and wanted to help Sony sales early on, but because of this, it's fallen even harder into obscurity due to no trophies, little marketing, and even smaller amount of fans. If you ever happen on this game, give it a try! It's worth a look!
