There is a Device on my computer desk, fastened to the lower digit of my right pointer finger, that feeds into a display about an inch to the left of my monitor on which the words "Scare-O-Meter" are embossed. The readout, which resembles a glass thermometer partitioned in 5 distinct segments, only flickers to life when I play This Kind of Game.
