hello! while i cannot say with 100% certainty that the game uses ai, and i personally think that its only visible in the character portraits, here are some sources i found running the game through an ai checker and discussion:

the thing that tipped me off was the character sprite for the ghost, robin, specifically. the eyes, glasses, and clothing just look a little off and like they are blending together.
