As far as I'm aware this was the first game that attempted to mock the PSX analog style we see in indie horror games, making you build a shitty sauna while a pre-rendered monster hunts you down unless you build it in time (in which case you two just chill out together).

It is quite impressive for not only actually making clever use of the retro aesthetic and its still untapped sinister potential, but also for being the first funny thing to ever come out of Finland.
