As a HUGE fan of the basegame Frontiers, putting it as my favourite Sonic game by a mile, this dlc/free update/whatever was genuinely a miserable and unfun time throughout the entire runtime aside from two exceptions. Horribly balanced and an absurd overcorrection on the original game/Ouranos Island's issues with an insane emphasis on masochism. The entire experience is carried by the new final boss and new edits to the ending of the game, which are genuinely up there as some of the highest points of the series, its just unfortunately buried under a pile of horseshit. Tomoya Ohtani worked overtime on the new music, it was so much better than the actual DLC content. Only play if you really, REALLY, loved Frontiers.
