I'm not sure how to feel about this game; I found the mechanics extremely interesting, enough to keep me engaged, but the plotline had various flaws that I noticed along the way.
Shitty relationship options and really odd scenes involving Jodie in vulnerable positions made me feel unsettled while playing (Like Other Girls in the bar, a certain part in Homeless, Ryan forcing a kiss on Jodie even if you reject all of his advances, etc.).
The whole "Infraworld" concept was interesting, but my favorite part of this game was the entire CIA involvement with Jodie and Aiden. The Mission was by far my favorite chapter/episode, and it left me full of despair and empathy for Salim and Jodie (when she saw the news). Regardless of the political commentary (though the portrayal of Somalis was odd, especially with the language spoken and their appearances resembling West Africans), the sneaking around, finding different spots to take cover, possessing soldiers with Aiden, and eventually assassinating the "warlord" was still extremely fun and enjoyable. Roaming around and breaking things with Aiden was always quite fun throughout the entire game, especially during "Hunted".
I don't know if I liked this game. I sure didn't love it, but I definitely didn't hate it. It takes a special kind of game to leave me extremely confused (in a bad way) at the end, so I give it extra points for that.
