Perhaps not the worst sonic game, but one of, if not the, most offensive. With most bad Sonic games, there was at least an attempt to create something unique and fun, and it just fell under unfortunate circumstances. Sonic Forces had nothing, so it lost nothing. Levels can be beaten in less than a couple minutes, sometimes just barely over 1. sonic games are always quick and fast paced, but the way Forces is designed and controlled with how much information it expects you to take in, almost feels like they wanted to do something different, worried they'd be made fun of and then made this game that takes what was somewhat good and promising of modern sonic and scraps it. Infinite as a villain is really stupid and goofy, which isn't what they were going for, but he's stupid in such a way that I have fun with him. The character creator was neat in concept, but after realizing how quick these levels can be beaten, you spend a majority of the game clicking through inventory awards, for an outfit that you'll never even use. and don't even get me started about their usage of Zavok.
