I've only played the battle mode so can't comment on the other games on the site.

Fun game, kind of addictive especially if cinema is an interest. You can use the knowledge of an actor or directors lesser know films to create traps, which when it lands is pretty satisfying.

There are a few true cinephiles, which can send you down classic cinema rabbit holes that is tricky to get out of, though these guys usually have blind spots on modern romcoms. But these guys gives the best battles, the back and forths are intense and calculating. I hit you with an Inland Empire, then get hit back with a Paris Texas by way of Harry Dean Stanton, I hit back with a City Of Angels, and then get hit back to Lynch with a Wild At Heart via Nick Cage.
On the other end you get guys who aren't that knowledgeable but create traps with bans around specific actors but if you get past the trap they can't think of a 3rd Ben Affleck movie. Beating them is also satisfying.

My favourite thing to do is use obscure bans like cinematographers or composers. And then when it hits I imagine it stun-locks your opponent because its so unexpected.

Most of the battles I lose is because of my slow typing, and typos which is a me issue. But there are kinks that could be ironed out like the bans I choose keep getting removed in my next game so I have to re select them. And I don't know if every movie is cataloged, I tried to get a Pattinson 3rd strike with Life, but I couldn't find it (Never got the opportunity to try again but will check).
