Very beginner unfriendly game. There are so many different perks, for killer and survivor, which will make you take time to get used to it and know what each perk does. The heartbeat will be scary in the beginning, but not for very long though.
Also, it can be very frustrating to be with random teammates who play bad or disconnect, or to play killer and have to go against very toxic survivors. But all in all, it is a very unique game with some amazing mechanics.
