I wasn't expecting to start this with a hot take but I think this might be the best Indiana Jones game or at least close to Fate of Atlantis.

Why wasn't I expecting it? Because of tank controls and platforming. This opinion was pretty much based to other peoples opinions as I have never played the original Tomb Raider games or other platformers with tank controls. But these controls are kinda great? They're so snappy and precise with couple different jump lengths so if you fail a jump it's 100% on you.

Other than platforming this game is very puzzle oriented with pretty much of all of them being logical and visually distinct that you know something must be done here. It can be pointlessly strict with the interaction area though so there were couple times I used an item in correct place but nothing happened because I was couple millimeters off the interaction area.

There is also nice variety with the levels as you have levels with driving, mine carts, more combat focuses and even some boss fights. Sadly most of these boss fights are very clunky and forgettable though.

About getting Steam version running on Windows 11 machine. I did download and install these fixes https://www.dropbox.com/s/cr1zl0i2cxu4s48/indy_patches_20220401.zip?dl=0 and then used dgVoodoo 2. After that I really didn't have any noticeable problems during my 17 hours outside one or two crashes and twice quicksave being unusable as Indy wouldn't move after loading it.
