This one is just all over the place and it sadly never brings it together.

The main story about the witch trials is interesting enough but it is structured so badly that it leads to jarring leaps of logic and other excuses to keep the story moving. This really undermines the tension and atmosphere as everything feels to have very little consequences. Somebody dies, characters are sad for 10 seconds and everything keeps going like nothing ever happened ¯\(ツ)/¯

Also what was up with that ending twist? It felt so tacked on and had nothing to really do with the witchcraft story.
