I think I started this back in like June 2021, and was enjoying it for a while. But if my Switch Screenshots are anything to go off, I got distracted by other games 2 weeks later and put it down, mid case 3. I only very recently (January 2022), half a year later, picked it up again while on a train. The cases and characters are all pretty good in this one. But I still think Ace Attorney 1s core 4 are stronger. The only thing that makes me believe 1 and 2 are equal, is because of how much I disliked Case 5 in AA1. In Justice for All, I didn't downright hate any of them at all. The only one I have some major criticism on is Case 4, which can get really confusing without occasionally consulting a guide. But even then, I still really enjoyed the story of Case 4. Otherwise, really good characters and villians, the overall story felt a little more organic than AA1, the music an art is still amazing. I’ve heard this is the weakest in the original trilogy, so I'm excited to see how Trials and Tribulations is. As it stands now, I think I’d give the first a slight edge over Justice for All, but there still pretty equal in terms of my enjoyment. (Also, I despised having to look at Mia in Pearls clothes every time, it feels so wrong.)
