Having played only regular Persona 5 beforehand when it originally released, coming back with Royal was nice and refreshing. I wish the payoff for it being a new version was more than just the very end of the game, though. The extended time made the final stretch feel like a slog that just kept going on and on, but it might be my fault how much I played the game.
