This game fixed a few issues I had with it's predecessor (Death Mark) and added some stuff that I didn't really mind.

For one, the cast got reduced but plays a bigger role ti the story. There is a connection between them, the case and the MC which makes the story come alive easily.

I am a hater of the "take care of your sibling" trope but I didn't mind it this time. The kid plays a rule but is not obnoxious because the time spend with that kid is rather limited. She is also not just thrown in the game for the cute factor but is also woven into the world and the story like any other character.

There are fewer cases than in Death Mark but that helps the game. The time spent with the tragedies surrounding the ghosts is not wasted or cut too short and because of this not really leaving an impact.

Again, we have some ecchi stuff in it that was unnecessary but that's just visual novels I guess. :/

I would actually take two stars off the game because I had to laugh pretty hard at the conclusion of the game when we finally find out what the doll's deal even is.

I don't want to spoil it, but...I mean: I get where the doll is coming from but seriously, there are easier ways to get what she wants.

>_> y'know what I mean....?

That left aside, I still liked the game. :)
