the base game of cuphead is a really fun and visually spectacular gauntlet of mostly well designed bosses that really stick in your mind
but the dlc adds so MUCH to this game, especially in terms of bosses. the ones here are ten times ase charming, colourful and creative as the ones in the main story, the side content added is super engaging, and ms chalice adds a really interesting new playstyle that really bolsters this game's replayabilty
it really feels like the devs turned up everything strong about cuphead up to eleven in this dlc, and in addition to the main game cuphead is now a near perfect complete package.
