In lieu of trying to explain how Placid Plastic Duck Simulator got me into experimental minimalist electronic music, I will just say that the act of playing this game was one of the most fulfilling forms of meditation I’ve ever experienced, comparable to the time I fell asleep in high school yoga class and had the deepest, most restorative 15 minutes of sleep I’ve experienced prior or since.
