If Found is a beautiful, intimate, and interactive story about memories, identity and understanding of self. It reads like an indie feature, but plays like a visual novel with an incredibly inventive erasing mechanic, which is central to not only the plot of the game, but thematically. Some of the scenes I felt the pain in erasing the words I had just materialized. As a film person, I would be so interested to see this become a film, but I feel like If Found is a type of experience you can only have with a video game, which is the highest praise I can give.
