I initially played Detroit back when it released in 2018 and back then, I actually enjoyed it quite a lot.

As a sci-fi lover, I was immersed in its world and the game got me invested, it also had nice visuals, a great soundtrack, and Connor's chapters were awesome.

But recently I went back for a replay, it had been 4 years since I last played it, this time on PC with better visuals, frame rate and basically everything else and... I dropped it after 8 chapters.
I just couldn't handle how the game takes itself so seriously, Markus's chapters became unbearable, mind numbing chores, and Kara's were boring and lifeless.
Like seriously the freedom and slavery themes are so cringe and unrealistic, it's so bad.

I still loved Connor and Hank though, their chapters are awesome but it wasn't enough to keep me on the replay.

I don't know if I like this game or not anymore, I won't touch my score, it's for my previous experience of this game, I will leave it be for now on.
I don't know if Detroit is a moody, atmospheric, sci-fi tale with a good cast and cool soundtrack
or a pile of pretentious, mind numbing, cringe dog shit.
I guess it can be both, it's just a matter of perspective.
I just had to get this out, it's a petty game, not even worth a review this long but whatever.
