Transformers Devastation is a chaotic and over-the-top hack n slash. In it's short gametime, this game managed to consistently engage me through satisfying combat, setting/level changes from each chapter to help prevent the gameplay from growing stale, and a decent difficulty climb.

While it still managed to be admittedly repetitive, I enjoyed the nostalgia this game presented through displaying numerous characters from the Transformers universe, along with cheesy, deadpan humor.

The entire Transformers franchise has fluctuated in its critical reception, and i believe that this game is one of the more "fun" areas of this media franchise, especially for Transformers fans.
